three months and counting

In the olden days, women would keep diaries that become the record of their existence in this world. Fortunately, we now have something called blogs, which allow women like me to keep an online journal of our lives without cramping our fingers.

Anyways, I've always been fascinated with the idea of passing something on to my children, especially a daughter, and what better thing to pass on than a written account of all the valuable lessons I will learn now that I'm going through a transition into the next phase of my life.

Only three months to go until I get married.

This blog will detail my adventures, or misadventures (if I know myself well enough) as I transition from being a carefree single girl to married life as someone's wife, and all its accompanying frills: cooking, cleaning, laundry and kids, all of which I have no experience with.

So I decided to start a blog, to tell my story, as I muddle through and learn to be a proper housewife. This blog not only record the mistakes that I'm sure I will make, seeing as how I don't really know anything about running a household. (For the record, I've never had to take care of myself. My mom always did that for me.) It will also record the lessons that I've learned and will take the place of a physical journal, that hopefully, I can one day share with my own daughter when she gets married.
